Training, Development & Fostering Education Of Estate Children

Training programmes for capacity building of employees at all levels of were conducted with the assistance of the Rubber Research Institute.  Tea Research Institute, the Planters’ Association and the National Institute of Plantation Management. 

Recognising the importance of  IT literacy, APL has established an IT education centre on Labookellie estate dedicated to  estate workers’ children, to enable them to harness the Knowledge Economy.

English education programmes for school children continue on Clyde estate.

Several scholarships were awarded in 2006 to estate youth to enable them to commence their university degrees.
